Cultivating Self-Compassion is arguably the single most important thing we can do in our lives, especially during these times of great criss. However, most of us wait until the tension, trauma or crisis to begin our compassion practice.
Sande guides us in a process of self-discovery, simple practices, and a little science to anchor our Self to build compassion muscle so we can withstand all thatwe navigate through in our lives.
Engaging, dynamic, fun and experiential, you will leave with some of Sande's signature and simple but powerful tools and practices to build those beefy compassion muscles.
We will spend our time together with some practical skills to cultivate self compassion, discussion and journaling.
Together we will examine:
The Myth and realities of Compassion
Mastering The Art of Micro-Compassion
The Life Force of Compassion
The Power of Compassionate Consequences
The Science of Compassion on the Mind, Body and The World
Sande is a grandmother, mother, Sister and the Founder and President of S.A.R.A.H. and a Compassionate Integrity Certified Trainer, having spent 19 years developing programs, initiatives and community building activities on the foundation of Compassion through S.A.R.A.H. and various other organizations. She was also the "International Head Coach of the Compassion Games, transforming lives in a women's prison, primary & high schools, and entire counties. Compassionate California is Sande's brain child, which was just recently signed into law by the State of California and is the first State of Compassion in the world.
Also a brain child of Sande's is the Women and Girls sector of the Charter for Compassion International, which she served as its Director for 4 years.
So, it's fair to say, she knows a little about Compassion, but will be first to admit that Self Compassion is the hardest skill to practice.
Please join us in some capacity building skills, conversation and journaling. We know you have a lot of wisdom to share as well.
S.A.R.A.H. was founded on the principles of shared leadership, Sisterhood, sacred listening and compassionate action, which requires self compassion.
