Glean;verb// to gather leavings of crops after reaping//to collect little by little.

"... when you reap your land's harvest, do not completely harvest the ends of your fields.... leave them for the poor  and the stranger..." Leviticus 9-10

Most every farm will leave fruit and vegetables in their fields to be collected by private groups to feed our hungry neighbors.

Call your local food pantry or outreach service (any church or synagogue can refer you to one). The food pantry can refer you to fields in your area that need help.

Grab some heavy gloves and round up your friends, soccer team, boy or girls scouts, or your classroom and teacher at school

If you start a Gleaning Group, please let us know about it
