The Women’s Interfaith Initiative and Grassroots Movement

Kay and Sande conducted an interactive workshop on the history and exploration of this 3rd Wave of Feminism. We shared actual steps and tools on how to take back ideas to their community and address their own needs.

We started with Interfaith Palates, where we extended into the international sign of peace, then spread our love outward, all the while being aware of our peripheral vision, then blessed our selves and said, “Namaste”

We also broke into one on one inquiries and small group discussions. Laura stood up and shared a beautiful poem written by her young daughter written on one of our Peace Tapestries. She had us all in tears. The poem is coming soon.
