We asked the children at the 2005 Children's Art Festival to think about

"What makes you feel Safe?"

and then draw onto the fabric squares

We sewed together their wisdom and prayers and presented Erin with this year's Peace Tapestry. Amazing as she is, Erin then turned and handed the Tapestry to Mark Klaas in a gesture of appreciation and love for his commitment to bringing justice and safety to the welfare of our children. Mark, who's own personal tragedy and loss inspired him to create the Klaas Kids Foundation. Along with Erin, John Walsh and other's, Mark is instrumental in the signing into law of the "Adam Walsh Child Protective Act" read about it here...
