CROP
Walk 2001
(Communities Reaching Out to People)

On
October 20, 2001 the religious community came together to raise money for
CROP - a worldwide agency that addresses global and local hunger, disaster
and poverty relief. We made friends, built bridges, danced together,
and learned from each other. Temple Beth El of Aliso Viejo presented the
tapestry and chose Dr. Hue Anwyl of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Laguna
Niguel in appreciation for years of generous hospitality and friendship. We also raised nearly $8,000, of which 25% was evenly distributed to Saddleback Outreach, Episcopal Service Alliance, and Sheepfold Woman's Home. |
